Ingredients
  

For the Glaze
  • 3/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1 cup guava nectar
  • Pineapple slices for garnish
For the Ham
  • 6 –8 lb pre-cooked bone-in spiral ham
  • 1/4 cup whole cloves
  • 1 jar 12 oz guava jelly

Method
 

  1. Simmer pineapple juice, guava nectar, brown sugar, ginger, and cloves until thick.
  2. Warm pineapple slices briefly in the glaze.
  3. Heat ham wrapped in foil at 325°F until warmed through.
  4. Arrange pineapple slices and brush with glaze.
  5. Brush with melted guava jelly and bake uncovered 15 minutes.

  • Extra shine: Brush additional guava jelly just before serving
  • Make-ahead: Glaze can be prepared up to 3 days in advance
  • No guava jelly? Substitute apricot preserves
